What’s
the
Difference?
May

An
interesting
topic
has
come
up
as
of
late,
and
that
is
the
comparison
of
online
gambling
to
online
trading.
Some
want
to
know
why
one
is
legal
and
one
is
not
–
considering
the
fact
that
online
trading
really
is
nothing
more
than
online
gambling.
Many
say
that
if
you
are
making
online
gambling
illegal,
then
online
trading
should
be
as
well.
In
fact,
AUADMK
General
Secretary
J
Jayalalithaa
called
for
an
immediate
ban
on
online
trading
as
she
says
it
is
nothing
more
than
online
gambling.
She
blames
online
futures
trading
and
the
“hoarding
of
essential
commodities”
as
the
main
reasons
why
inflation
is
as
bad
as
it
is.
She
says
that
the
trading
is
nothing
more
than
online
gambling,
and
that
there
are
no
risks
for
the
trader.
She
said
that
they
have
to
make
it
illegal
immediately,
and
put
a
ban
on
hoarding
as
well.
She
says
that
the
government
is
being
used
to
support
this
form
of
online
gambling,
and
it
must
be
stopped.
Calling
it
“blind
adherence
to
globalization
agenda,”
she
states
that
the
international
agreements
are
depriving
Indian
farmers
of
subsidies
as
well.
She
claims
that
they
have
caused
“agriculture
to
become
progressively
unviable”
and
that
they
are
destroying
the
farmers
and
their
way
of
life.
They
are
even
forcing
many
to
think
that
suicide
is
the
only
way
out
–
and
it
must
be
stopped.
She
says
that
the
online
gambling
in
the
form
of
trading
must
be
stopped,
as
must
the
subsidies
be
restored.
