Finish Bank Makes Unsubstantiated Claims

It would seem that Nordea Bank has decided that online gambling is the reason so many of their clients are facing financial difficulties. They say that people are losing their homes and are unable to pay their bills because of the fact that they are so addicted to online gambling. They say that it is a bigger problem than unemployment and will continue to be so as long as people keep participating in it.

Tarja Svartstr�m is a private financial affairs economist at the bank and he says that it is the new problem for their clients. That they are so addicted to online gambling that they are unable to see how they are wasting their money instead of paying their bills. They say that there are too many online gambling sites that are accessible to Finish gamblers and this means that they are simply feeding an online gambling addiction.

Those that are addicted to online gambling, per the bank, are not paying their mortgages or they are paying them late. They say that unemployment within the country is positively minor compared to it. They say that because of this addiction to online gambling they are now seeing many more loans for people to try and pay off outstanding loans. They say that some of these people lost their jobs first, and then turned to online gambling to try and pay off their outstanding debts.

What is interesting about this to many people is that they see it as Finland�s way of justifying their online gambling ban. Experts say that there is no reason why online gambling would be responsible for the problems that the state is claiming, and that they have no research or data to back up their claims.
