November 1
Many of the online casinos players in Tasmania are still wondering what ids really going on with the online casino licensing plan regarding online casino company Betfair.
A local newspaper in the area is saying that the verdict regarding the licensing of the online casino remains a well kept secret. The British online casinos company, Betfair, is seeking a licensing deal in Tasmania.
Yesterday, Tasmanian
Premier, Paul Lennon, was in Melbourne meeting with members of the racing industry regarding the online casino gambling decision.
Even though many online casino fans feel that a deal has already been decided, no announcements have been made.
It is now believed that some sort of revelation will be made later in this week. Why the wait? It is not known why either side would hold-out an announcement if a deal has already been made on whether to permit an online casinos licensing in Tasmania.
Tasmanian Thoroughbred Racing Council chairman Geoff Harper said freedom-of-information requests had been lodged in a last-minute bid for more information.
Mr. Harper also said the council was yet to see a business case despite the fact an announcement was due by Friday.
