GigaMedia are Online Gambling Winners

GigaMedia Ltd. is an online casino and poker company, and with their recently released financial results they are showing a seven year high with their numbers. The company was a broadband company that was not doing so well, until they started the switch to online gambling and entertainment – and from there they took off.

The online gambling company owns a large range of online casinos, including but not limited to: CasinoLux.com, CasinoTreasure.com, Casino Elegance.com, and Casino Glamour.com. They are also the company behind the ever popular EverestPoker.com, the world’s largest online poker site.

The company has a large European and Asian presence, and with these additions to their empire they are showing record highs for their stock. It recently shot up to $23 a share after experts said that they could greatly benefit from their relations in Europe.

The European Commission has been working on getting countries such as France and Germany to participate in their free-trade policies, and with it looking like they are finally making some headway there, companies such as GigaMedia are set to expand and truly take advantage of the new regulations.

They also have the benefit of having a strong Asian presence which helps greatly. Asia is considered to be the last bastion of hope for many online gambling companies as many of the other markets are becoming oversaturated due to the U.S. restrictions on online gambling.

Having a large presence in Asia allows the company to make use of its license to offer and operate multi-player online gambling games in China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. The company saw the future of online gambling in Asia and took steps to get a foothold there before many other companies even thought about it.
