Online
Gambling
is
the
Topic
of
Conversation
November
19,
2008
According
to
the
American
Gaming
Association,
online
gambling
is
going
to
be
the
“hot”
issue
on
people’s
minds
over
the
next
several
months.
Frank
Fahrenkopf,
president
of
the
AGA
says
that
whether
or
not
online
gambling
will
be
legalized
will
be
the
topic
of
conversation
over
the
next
few
years
even,
as
the
fight
continues
to
make
it
regulated.
With
the
Global
Gaming
Expo
kicking
off
in
Las
Vegas
right
now,
at
the
same
time
as
the
government
trying
to
pass
the
new
regulations
on
the
Unlawful
Internet
Gambling
Enforcement
Act,
everyone
is
talking
online
gambling.
Not
only
are
people
wondering
what
will
happen
with
the
topic
over
the
next
few
months,
but
they
are
also
wondering
what
will
happen
when
it
becomes
legal
as
many
think
it
will.
There
are
many
big
names
in
gaming
out
there
that
are
more
than
interested
in
seeing
it
become
legal
to
participate
in
online
gambling.
Some
of
the
biggest
names
in
online
gambling
–
like
Wynn
and
Harrah’s,
would
be
more
than
just
a
little
interested
in
finding
out
how
they
might
be
able
to
get
their
foot
in
the
door
and
get
a
piece
of
the
billion
dollar
industry.
With
revenues
falling
at
the
land
based
casinos
and
online
gambling
growing,
they
know
that
it
only
makes
sense
for
them
to
get
in
on
the
action.
Many
of
them
have
already
seen
it
in
the
way
that
they
Expo
itself
is
being
run
this
year.
Many
don’t
have
the
money
to
come
like
they
did
in
the
past,
and
if
they
are
interested
in
online
gambling
they
are
simply
going
to
sit
down
at
their
computer
and
play.
