Global Gaming Expo, which is known
as the world's largest casino
industry trade show and the prime
scene for exhibiting slot
technology.
In general, the slot machine
industry
has been on a
permit making free-for-all during
the past few years to produce games
that range from TV shows and game
shows to old-school cartoons.
Celebrity slot machines are the
newest passion and they are
bolstering the convention into a
whole new show. The expo starts
Monday, October 4, at the Las Vegas
Convention Center.
This year's
show, named G2E, will be the largest
in history and will certainly set
the bar high for new games to come.
Exhibits and conference sessions
also will focus on the new
popularity of poker and a need for
gourmet restaurants in casinos.
Organizers for this years event are
very proud and excited to see the
expo taking off.
This is the
fourth year for the annual event and
it will accommodate an estimated
26,000 visitors this year. Some 700
exhibitors will be there to show-off
their items. There will be an
estimated total of 255,000
square feet used in the convention
center for this years show.
Also debuting this time around
will be a
is a food and beverage area
showcasing over forty vendors as
well as a design area that will have
specialists in interior design,
architecture, furniture and
landscaping. This year's blow-out
expo also include more sessions on
newer gaming markets in foreign
countries as well as tribal casinos
and poker tournaments.
There will
actually be so much more at this
expo than star-spotting. Many
companies will be making great
business deals too.
Because they
are such a huge money maker, slots
will most definitely dominate the
floor space.
For whatever reason people go to
Vegas this week, they are sure to be
entertained.
