As of yesterday at 6PM Eastern, many online gambling fans started bidding on historical casino items form Vegas casinos of the past. A t least $1 million in the biggest opening bid in eBay history will go on the block online. A large selection of casino chips dating back to when gangsters and the Rat Pack ruled Vegas will be offered to the highest bidder.
The
10-day auction will feature items from a private casino collection belonging to a DEnver businessman. Collecting casino chips from the 1940's era of Las Vegas, as well as short-lived casinos from the Old West including Reno, Lake Tahoe, and Virginia City, has become one of the hottest collecting hobbies these days.
In the collection, there are pieces of actual casino from old demolitions and such.
Many pieces were even saved from casinos ruined by fires.
Online casino players and casino enthusiasts from all over want to get there hands on a piece of the past when it comes to Las Vegas, now is there chance.
