Acropolis
For
Sale
October
29,
2007
Leisure
and
Gaming
PLC
has
announced
that
they
have
indeed
put
AcropolisCasino.com
on
the
market
for
sale.
This
announcement
comes
amid
some
speculation
from
the
online
gambling
industry
that
the
site
might
in
fact
be
for
sale.
The
online
casino
is
one
of
the
older
companies
out
there,
so
many
were
shocked
that
it
would
be
up
for
sale.
Leisure
and
Gaming
own
the
site
through
their
subsidiary
Grouse
Entertainment
NV.
The
site
is
up
for
sale
for
a
half
of a
million
dollars.
The
company
says
that
they
are
simply
“exploring
the
possibility”
of
selling
Grouse,
and
thereby
selling
Acropolis
at
the
same
time.
eGaming
Brokerage
has
listed
the
online
casino,
as
well
as
the
company’s
explanation
as
to
what
their
thoughts
are.
Grouse
holds
a
Curacao
gaming
license
as
well
as
its
own
equipment.
The
site
holds
the
same
gambling
license,
and
uses
Playtech
casino
software.
They
say
that
all
of
their
payment
processing
and
customer
service
issues
are
handled
by a
separate
company.
Acropolis
will
be a
great
investment
for
anyone
who
is
interested
as
the
company
brings
in
roughly
$100,000
a
month
in
net
wins
and
$16,000
a
month
in
EBIT.
Experts
say
that
these
figures
represent
a
company
that
hasn’t
done
any
marketing
recently,
so
if
someone
were
to
look
into
marketing
the
company
they
would
be
looking
at a
much
higher
amount
of
revenue.
