Casablanca
Gaming
Group
Operating
New
Online
Casino
October
18,
2007
With
two
big
players
in
the
online
gambling
industry
coming
together
to
create
one
player,
you
are
looking
at a
guaranteed
winner
for
the
online
casino
industry.
Martinspoker
and
24h
Poker
AB
have
joined
together
to
form
Casablanca
Gaming
Group
AB.
The
new
gaming
group
will
have
a
lot
on
their
hands
as
they
embrace
the
brands
that
come
in
with
the
venture.
Martinspoker
is
currently
operated
under
24h
Pay
Ltd,
in
Malta,
although
they
handle
different
online
gambling
issues
than
24h
Poker
AB
does.
24h
Poker
Holding
is
one
of
the
largest
online
gambling
poker
networks
out
there
today.
They
will
continue
to
handle
the
same
design
elements
that
they
did
before
the
venture,
only
they
will
be
creating
more
and
handling
more
volume
in
the
industry
than
they
did
before.
They
are
located
in
Sweden,
and
Claus
Nielson
will
take
over
the
role
of
CEO
of
Casablanca.
Casablanca
Gaming
Group,
as a
result
of
the
merger,
will
be
operating
the
brands
of
24hPoker,
and
Martinspoker,
as
well
as
Staffpoker
and
Danepoker
because
of
the
venture.
The
design
will
fall
under
Casablanca
and
they
will
bring
in
more
online
gambling
groups
as
well.
The
customers
that
are
currently
listed
under
24hPoker
as
well
as
their
included
subsidiaries
will
be
transferred
to
Casablanca,
as
well
as
much
of
their
other
property.
All
of
it
will
go
to
their
Maltese
subsidiary,
and
handled
from
there.
24hPoker
CEO,
Peter
Astrom,
thinks
that
this
move
was
the
best
thing
for
the
company
and
for
their
clients.
They
say
that
with
Casablanca
Gaming
Group
now
handling
their
online
poker
site,
they
can
free
themselves
up
for
handling
other
operations
such
as
supplying,
without
worrying
about
neglecting
their
other
subsidiaries.
