There are eleven states that are not permitted to play online gambling and they are Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, South Dakota, Washington and Wisconsin. Residents of these states will not be able to play at the online casinos because of their local laws.

There have been many people trying to access the online gambling services of several Microgaming online casinos only to be blocked when they got there. The issue is that Microgaming will not allow US residents to create an account.

If you are interested in creating one that is for free, then by all means you will be able to do that at almost any of the online gambling sites that they offer. However, for anyone living in a restricted state, Microgaming is very careful not to allow the creation of accounts for real money purposes.

Some are angry that Microgaming won�t allow them to sign up, and some are just angry that they were not told. The online casino company feels that it is up to the individual to know their local laws and restrictions and therefore police themselves. The company obviously does not want to become entangled in something that involves legality and online gambling.

There are those that don�t live in restricted states and are wondering if they can sign up for online gambling. Microgaming has never come out with a clear stance on the UIGEA, so for now simply read the rules and restrictions as they pertain to the online casino that you are looking to visit.
