Online Gambling Taking Over Jacksonville

How do you know what an online gambling café looks like? This is actually a very good question considering the fact that you probably drive by them all the time and don’t notice them. If you live in Jacksonville, then not only are you driving past them but you’re driving past them quite often.
According to experts Jacksonville is becoming overrun with Internet cafés that are offering online gambling access. Most of these cafés are inconspicuous in the sense that they are not advertising that they offer online gambling, instead some offer a sweepstakes or something of that nature to draw you in. They try to make it seem as if they are legitimate businesses, but most of them are not. Not all of these sites are running illegal online gambling access, some are actually offering the ability for their clients to surf the web, it do research, or look for jobs; but the rest of them are offering illegal online gambling.
Many of these cafés are running under names that have an almost military sound to them. One such café was running under the name of Allied Veterans of the World Internet Café, but it was really an illegal online gambling operation. Lawsuits have been brought against places of this ilk, which closes them down temporarily until they open in another location.
There are many counties within Florida that are attempting to shut down these cafés, but they seem to spring up almost as fast as they are closed. Marion County had issued a crackdown on their online gambling cafés, only to see them pop up elsewhere. If you decide to frequent one of these illegal online gambling operations, know that if you are caught you will be arrested all along that the people who were running it so it is best not to tempt fate.
