Government Owned Online Gambling Sites

The Swedish Government has found that a number of their residents have found a lot of joy in online gambling. They are spending their time, and their money, playing the Svenska Spel government owned online gambling sites that are available to them.

Svenska Spel is an online gambling company that is owned by the Swedish Government, and has done much better for itself than many thought it would. In fact, Swedish Radio News is reporting that they are expecting that over the net year their numbers are going to go even higher.

According to the online gambling company, they are expecting a 40% jump over last year’s numbers by the end of this year. The online gambling firm of ATG says that they have already see a 30% increase in the number of web based and online poker bets that they take, and they point out that this was only during the first half of the year.

Experts say that the online gambling industry in Sweden is looking to take in more than $5 billion from the United States alone, as that was their numbers more than three years ago. The Holland Government is planning on opening some online gambling sites of their own now that they have seen how well Sweden is doing, and is hoping to cash in on some of that revenue.
