Online Gambling Legal in US?

With all the pushing for online gambling being made illegal, there are people gambling all the time online and nothing is being done about it. Anyone with a credit card or a credit card bill � no matter how old they are, they can participate in online gambling.

There are many of these online gambling companies out there, with Etrade being the leader. You can participate in online gambling any day of the week � you simply go on and create an account with the brokerage and play to your heart�s content.

Online gambling in the form of stocks, bonds, etc is exactly the same as any other kind of gambling. The only difference is that this one is legal, while the other isn�t. Stock trading is everywhere you look because it is legal.

There are advertisements on TV and radio, so it is everywhere you look or listen, yet it is not illegal. But if stock trading is legal and online gambling isn�t � how do we know that they aren�t using stock trading to launder money or fund terrorist organizations like online gambling is accused of?

It would seem that online gambling is legal as long as you call it something else. Perhaps the online gambling industry simply needs to change their name?
