Roulette Basics
Roulette is basically a game of chance. It is a simple
spin of the wheel and watching to see what number comes up
when the ball finally lands. Roulette is really one of the
easiest games you can play whether you are in a casino or
you are playing online. You can place a bet on a color
and a
number. The odds stay the same no matter how many players
are betting at the wheel. There can be only one player or
hundreds of players at one table.
Some gamblers don't like the fact that so many people can
play at once. Because so many players can play at once, and
the amount of time it takes to place bets at a busy wheel
can be lengthy, some gamblers can be turned off. You can
also lose quite a bit of money on just one spin, depending
how you are betting. When you play online, the wheel will
continue no matter how many are playing at a given time.
This is a definite plus for online gambling and something
you might want to consider.
In itself the roulette wheel is made up of 38 numbered
sections. Numbers1-36 and the 0 and 00. These numbers are
also colored black or red so there won't be any confusion
about the number that has been wagered on.
You will find that different casinos might have differing
rules. Some casinos have have different types of bets and
amounts that you can wager at any given time. One thing that
won't change is that when your number hits you win, if your
number doesn't hit you lose.
Quite simply, all bets are placed, the wheel is spun, the
ball then lands on a number, the dealer then takes the money
from the losing numbers while adding to the winners' number.
The dealer then waits for the next round of betting to be
placed. The dealer then calls out bets closed or something
similar to this before spinning again. Once the wheel is
spun again you may not bet. This will ensure that all wagers
are fair for everyone involved.
